Katie & Cody // engagement
i'm not being hyperbolic when I say that this engagement session was one of the sweetest shoots I've had the pleasure of doing. We finished so quickly that I had to reassure both Katie and Cody that literally every single photo was beautiful. See for yourself. aby & josh
I have known Aby for almost 8 years now. When I met her, she stood out. Bubbly, kind, generous-- she is the kind of person to look you right in the eye and mean all of the things that come out of her mouth. I didn't meet Josh until the two came out to my little college town to perform with local wordsmith / musician Dessa. The two crashed in my living room and I'll never forget how excited they were to eat my homemade frittata in the morning. Not even my dearest friends will sit down with me and eat my frittata.
It was such a joy to see these two wed. I wish the both of you love, light, and levity.
Carlyn & Sean
I loved getting to know Carlyn and Sean's story. They have been inseparable since early teenage-hood and have such a strong cast of family and friends rallying around them. The weather couldn't have been better for their late May wedding. Congratulations you two.
Adam & Danielle // engagement
When Adam & Danielle booked me for their engagement session (and upcoming August wedding!) we talked about their love for biking and for Marvel Bar (below the esteemed Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis's North Loop). We were lucky enough to make use of Bachelor's upper level event space for part of our session and then continued to the Cedar Lake Bike Trail on one of the early summers warmest days. I love these two and their obvious love for one another-- what an easy job I have. here are some of my favorites from our session(s).
