Two very special people got married this past weekend. I've known Alex and Jamie for a little over one year, but from day one they have been incredibly welcoming and kind. I remember it well-- I had just moved in to an apartment and they happened to live on the first floor. Jamie came outside and immediately grabbed my hand, telling me how excited she was that her neighbors were "so effing cute." Alex, though more subdued, was always sweet and put up with our many bonfires.
Needless to say, I had been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time. Held at Icehouse along Eat Street in Minneapolis, the two had a lovely ceremony and reception on one of the most beautiful days of late summer-- it couldn't have been better.
